When I'm not sitting in front of my computer or studying, I love hanging out with my friends. These are pictures from the many road-trips and vacations I've taken with them.

The Leo Sunday school once again had their annual winter retreat at Center Lake Bible Camp. The weather was cold, but the fire was warm and the hot chocolate even warmer still. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire, talking about the Lord, snow skiing and snow boarding, tubing, cross-country skiing, building friendships, sleeping in cabins, and lots of singing.

The CGYG Fall Break 2006 Kansas City Trip, "Return of the Freeloaders, Again." A group of five of us; Dan Schafer, Kyle Fiechter, Abe Habegger, Erica Sauder, and Kirsten Sauder again made the many hour drive to Mark Miller's parents place in KC. We went to Mark's concert with Jeremy; both guys are incredible musicians.

The CGYG Spring Break 2006 Kansas City Trip, "Return of the Freeloaders." A group of ten of us; Dan Schafer, Jeremy Reinhard, Kyle Fiechter, Abe Habegger, Katy Schlipf, Kristi Schlipf, Erica Sauder, Kirsten Sauder, Shannon Fiechter, Ruthie Kaufman made a return pilgrimage to Mark Miller's parents place in KC. We enjoyed hanging out with Mark's family again and eating their food.

Jeremy Reinhard had a singing at his wonderful parents place in Bluffton. Gale and Jerome Reinhard are now like second parents to me. Kelby Kershner came home for the Christmas and Leo Lestino came with him. It was very exciting to see Leo again. On Saturday we had lunch at Kelby's parents place (awesome food), hung out, and shot guns. That night after dinner at the school, a big group of us went to Derrick Kipfer's parents place (they were gone for the weekend), to shoot off the cannon and ring in the New Year. Sunday after church, Jeremy and I went for a little polar bear swim...brrrrr.

The CGYG Fall Break 2005 Trip to Virginia Beach. A group of thirteen of us: Dan Schafer, Jeremy Reinhard, Derrick Kipfer, Abe Habegger, Nick Steffen, Kyle Fiechter, Jon Klotzle, Katy Schlipf, Kristi Schlipf, Erica Sauder, Kirsten Sauder, Kyann Kershner, and Beth Tonner all piled into two vans and roadtripped it to Virginia Beach to visit Kelby Kershner. We went to the beach a few times. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, we had a great time trying to surf, play in the sand, and running around. We met a few of Kelby's VB friends: Leo Lestino, Adam and Ginger to mention a few. On the way home, we stopped at the "Route 60 American Grill & Bar" in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. We met some really fun locals and sang "Take Me Home, Country Roads" for them.

Myself, Tyler Stieglitz, and Morgan Langhoffer started the journey towards Taylor, MO for Luke and Angie Luginbuhl's wedding. We left the Fort Wayne area around 9:40am on Saturday to pick up Sarah Hodel and Gabrielle Roeschley around 3pm to get Sarah to the rehearsal dinner by 6pm. Everything was going smoothly until a turn was not made and many miles were traveled in the wrong direction. To make a long story shorter than our trip, we put mileage on the van like nobodies business. A trip that should have included only about 17 hours of driving ballooned to about 24 hours of driving. Next time I'm entering in the Le Mans. One of the detours was to see the arch in St. Louis and eat barbeque. Mission Road Trip accomplished.

The CGYG Spring Break 2005 Kansas City Trip. A group of nine of us; Dan Schafer, Mark Miller, Kelby Kershner, Jeremy Reinhard, Sam Steffen, Kami Klopfenstein, Erica Sauder, Kirsten Sauder, and Kristi Schlipf visited Mark's parents place in KC. Mark's sister Christy and brother Michael were in a musical about the life of Hudson Taylor, an English missionary to China. Mark's parents April and Dennis took care of us beyond what any of us deserved.

Makato Inoue, Dan Schafer, Joel Zeller, and Josh Overmeier traveled to Tokyo for Makato's baptism over Christmas Vacation 2000. Makato's parents Akito and Marie were very gratious hosts. We traveled around Tokyo and around the country. We even got to go part of the way up Mt Fuji. This is only the first roll of film out of five.
